We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Tender Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with significant experience in tendering, cost estimation, and project management within the engineering or construction industry. This role requires an individual who can analyze complex project requirements, prepare accurate cost estimates, and develop technical proposals that meet both client needs and industry standards.

Key Accountability Areas

Project Analysis: Analyze project requirements to identify key technical and commercial aspects, ensuring all client specifications and industry standards are met.
Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, timelines, and tender documents to support project bids.
Technical Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and develop comprehensive technical proposals that align with their expectations.
Contract Review: Review and analyze contract terms and conditions, providing recommendations to ensure the best interests of the company are represented.
Client Negotiation: Participate in tender evaluation meetings and actively engage in negotiations with clients to secure favorable contract terms.
Compliance Management: Ensure all tender submissions comply with client specifications, industry standards, and legal requirements.
Market Insight: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, particularly in the Saudi market.
Project Handover: Support the project management team in the smooth handover of successful tenders, ensuring all necessary information and documentation are provided.

Role Accountability

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in tendering, project management, or a related role within the engineering or construction industry.
Strong technical and commercial acumen with the ability to analyze complex project requirements and develop innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in using tendering software and Microsoft Office Suite.
In-depth knowledge and experience in the Saudi market is highly preferred.
