Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Specialist to support the human resource functions for a major Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Abu Dhabi. The HR Specialist will play a key role in managing HR operations ensuring compliance with local labor laws and fostering a positive work environment. This role involves supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management processes within a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) framework. Key Responsibilities

  1. Support end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of project personnel.
  2. Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, company policies, and project-specific requirements.
  3. Coordinate and manage employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
  4. Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the project.
  5. Handle employee relations issues and provide support to address grievances and conflicts.
  6. Monitor and manage employee attendance, leave, and timesheets in collaboration with project management teams.
  7. Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures aligned with corporate and project needs.
  8. Support performance management processes including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback.
  9. Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and project performance.
  10. Maintain HR metrics and reports providing insights to the management team.
  11. Liaise with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of salaries and benefits.
Qualifications :
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Experience:
    • Minimum 5-8 years of HR experience with a focus on large-scale projects in the Oil & Gas or construction industry.
    • Previous experience in a PMC environment is a strong advantage.
  3. Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proficient in HR systems and tools with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
    • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
