Roles and ResponsibilitiesTo Support Al Rostamani Trading Company in Compliance in Corporate Governance related to Statutory submissions of VAT, Corporate tax and any other requirements. Provide the Accounting function for Citroen.Key Accountabilities:Responsible for Monthly VAT computation, output and input reconciliation and filingResponsible for VAT reconciliation with R7 Software data /RCMVAT reconciliation with R7 Software data (interface with Autoline)Responsible for Corporate TAX compliance for the company as per tax regulations and company processesEnsure that Sales invoicing on Autoline are accurate for processingMonth end Provisions and checking of FinancialsAdvertisement support claim verification and posting of claim invoices for CitroenResponsible for Citroen Price Build up - Sales price & GPM Calculations, Monthly and on need basisVerification and reconciliation iCube sales Vs Autoline invoicingWarranty Debtors control (Citroen EURO) - SL A/c with GL ReconciliationCitroen supplier/ NL Reconciliations JV Postings/Month end JVAll Supplier cheque Payments/Petty cash and customer refunds verificationLPO authorization in Autoline to ensure complianceDeferred interest workings, posting and scheduleMinimum Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:Qualifications:Accounting Degree (Preferable Certification like CA or ACCA)Experience:4-5 Years in automotiveKnowledge & Skills:Excellent negotiation skills and influencing skillsRelationship Management SkillsExcellent presentation skillsProficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPointDesired Candidate ProfileAccounting Expertise: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), practices, and regulations.Financial Reporting: Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports.Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in financial documentation and reporting.Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.Time Management: Skill in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines, especially during peak periods like month-end and year-end closings.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey financial information clearly.Team Leadership: Experience in supervising and mentoring junior accountants and support staff.Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of tax laws and compliance requirements relevant to the organization.Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: Preparing timely and accurate financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances, and making recommendations.General Ledger Maintenance: Ensuring the integrity of the general ledger and overseeing journal entries and reconciliations.Compliance: Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.Audit Support: Assisting with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements in accounting processes and systems for efficiency.Training and Development: Mentoring and training junior accountants and staff on accounting practices and systems.
