Senior Engineer - Doha - Qatar General Electric & Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA)A challenging role has become available for a highly experienced Senior Engineer to lead our team in Qatar.Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Engineer to oversee the maintenance of substation equipment and ensure the quick restoration of supply in case of system breakdown.Key ResponsibilitiesLead a team of expert Maintenance Engineers and allocate duties to them.Ensure the swift restoration of supply in case of loss of supply to sensitive consumers.Oversee the repairing works of substation equipment with all concerned parties.Guide Engineers in the field and control for quick restoration of supply in case of system breakdown.Confirm priorities for preventive maintenance of switchgears and replacement.Prepare operational memoranda with introduction of new equipment and changed situations.Arrange and share preparation of tender documents with all concerned parties.Supervise execution of annual and weekly preventive and corrective maintenance plans.Analyze faults and weaknesses of the system and take remedial actions.Manage maintenance contracts, monitoring quality and quantity.Identify system weaknesses from operational and maintenance viewpoints and suggest remedies.RequirementsMinimum 10 years of experience in construction of Distribution Networks.Supervises a team of maintenance engineers and technicians.B.
