Join a dynamic team at an independent pharmacy group, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care to the community of Gloucestershire. With a network of pharmacies and a dedicated team of over 20 Pharmacists, our client is committed to excellence in patient service and professional development. You will support the business as a Pharmacist based at their brand-new store in Gloucester (GL10) on a full time, permanent basis working 4 weekdays (8:30am to 6:30pm) & Saturdays (9am to 1pm), however this may be negotiable. - Support & Guidance: You will receive dedicated support from your team of Dispensers and Counter Assistants and non-Pharm Manager, as well as head office for service initiatives, and guidance from an experienced Area Manager.
- Training & Development: Exciting opportunities for career advancement, including roles such as Area Manager, Services Lead, Superintendent duties, or Continuous Professional Development Lead within a progressive group.
- GPhC registered Pharmacist with a passion for patient care.
- Hold a Master’s degree in Pharmacy coupled with completed pre-registration training.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to diverse audiences, including the general public and healthcare professionals.
- Genuine concern for the welfare and well-being of patients.
- Support in the executing of medication dispensing tasks, including compounding, packaging, and labelling medicines.
- Maintain quality control over medications through vigilant monitoring of drug therapies and providing expert interventions.
- Support pharmacy operations, working alongside Technicians, ensuring accurate preparation and labelling of medicines.
