Infrastructure Solution Engineer (VMware/Data Storage)

Job Description: Basic + Mobile reimbursement + Corporate Grab transport Will be moving around, depends onsite requirement 5 days, 9am to 6pm Responsibilities Deploy, configure, manage, and maintain virtualized infrastructure. Create documentation, perform root cause analysis, quickly identify trends and recommend possible solutions. Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software related issues. Serve as a primary support and maintenance resource for customers. Perform required maintenance off hours and support 24x7 operations. Participate in requirements gathering. Present and promote solutions and services to highlight value add. Requirements Minimum Diploma in computer science, information technology, computer programming or relevant studies with 2+ years experiences in virtualization technology is preferred. VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) is an advantage. Knowledge of server systems, storage systems, virtualization technologies and networking. Knowledge of data centre route/switch technology, backup/recovery in a virtual environment. Understanding of active directory architecture, DNS administration. Preferably with some working experience and knowledge in Linux. Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong coordination and project skills. Strong customer experience mindset, listening, understanding and responding to customer needs. Assess and evaluate current virtual computing infrastructure, and provide recommendations for enhancements. Keen to learn.
