Music Teacher

ISG Dammam seeks an elementary music teacher with a passion for involving students in music. The ideal candidate will have experience inspiring students to perform. This person would demonstrate a commitment to a well-rounded and flexible music program that includes multiple age, grades, and experience levels.

Position Duties

• Demonstrate commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection ).

• Inspire students to perform music in both informal and formal settings.
• Contribute to a successful after school program.
• Contribute to the creation and revision of a music curriculum.
• Communicate and collaborate in a professional manner.
• Reflect on assessment goals and targets.
• Know and respond to the needs of all students.
• Organize events and performances.
• Promote agency and innovation in the learning process.
• Exhibit effective and positive classroom management.
• Contribute to student growth and collaboration.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Elementary Assistant Principal.

Qualifications and Knowledge

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
• Current certification/licensure to teach Music.
• Knowledge of the National Core Arts Standards.

Experience and Skills

• Teaching music at the elementary school level in an international context.
• Leading and inspiring elementary students to perform.
• Designing programs based on the National Core Arts Standards.
• Proficient with Google Suite or Microsoft Office.

• A strong awareness of child protection and a commitment to ensure the safety of our students.
• Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Maturity to handle a range of situations.
