Its initial focus is early childhood, a period of life that lays the foundation for all future learning, development, and wellbeing. Applying an integrated approach to education, health, nutrition, and stimulation in the early years, HDP aims to provide the support needed to promote holistic child development by enhancing physical, cognitive, social, and emotional abilities of children to help them become healthy, competent individuals participating productively and effectively in their societies. HDP is determined to promote better development of future generations and with its educational and community-based programs. The Program aims to build the capacity of professionals, parents, and communities who have the responsibility of providing a strong foundation and learning opportunities for ensuring a good start in life for every child. This is a grant-funded contractual position.ResponsibilitiesReview existing ECD material/resources/literatureConduct training of trainers, FGDs, and IDIs in the community for need assessmentMonitor and supervise cascade trainingsConduct refresher training based on training evaluations and participants' and stakeholders' feedbackProvide a facilitator for a capacity-building program in SindhVisit UNICEF ECD centers for feedbackConduct refresher training in Karachi for the health programConduct desk review, situation analysis for ECD in emergenciesCoordinate with finance in all financial matters related to project activitiesCoordinate trainings and online sessions like webinarsRequirementsA Master's degree in a relevant discipline with a qualification in ECDAt least five years of experience in project management in diverse settings.
