Job Opportunity: Planning Engineer Level IIAn exciting opportunity for Planning Engineer level II to work under the Technical Planning & Engineering Department based in Doha, Qatar. You will play a key role in providing specialized knowledge & skill for assigned maintenance planning functions including:Work scope definitionMaintenance plans preparationControl of check layoversCapacity planningFleet wide modification plan preparationReplacement staggering plan for hard time componentsManagement of aircraft deferred defects & trouble shooting recommendationsWith a view to optimize resources, minimize costs and ensure airworthiness.Operational AccountabilitiesDevelop maintenance plans for heavy maintenance, light maintenance, and line maintenance in a cost-effective manner with consideration to the TAT & burn rate.Manage Deferred Defect planning and scheduling to contribute to ensuring the clearance of Deferred Defects swiftly within the due date.Manage Trouble Shooting Recommendations planning and scheduling to contribute to ensuring the clearance of TSRs as per defined priority.Develop Shift Line Action Plan in agreement with Production & Supply Chain and execute the same, keeping constant liaison with Production for adjustment of the Plan in real-time according to the changes in operation.Act as shift lead while working at Line Planning Shift and provide necessary guidance to duty Planning Officers in their assigned work as required.Understand Aircraft Parking / Storage regulatory requirements and exhibit skills to prepare Parking / Storage Plans accordingly.
