Job Description The position is a strategic core asset within the manufacturing site in KLM, where you will be translating the “Voice of the Manufacturing” into tangible benefits through Digitalization. As a team lead, you will make the most of the experts' knowledge and skills in your team by identifying high-value use cases. You will build a strategy together with a network of managers and other stakeholders and own the backlog of applications in areas such as artificial intelligence, self-service analytics, and data-driven automation. You will also closely align local targets with cross-site activities to harvest maximum value out of Digitalization for the company. In your new role, you will:
- Lead a team of up to 5 experts for data, analytics, and digitalization.
- Manage, steer, support, and scale the use case portfolio locally and from/to other sites for maximum value in alignment with local management and cross-site cluster strategy.
- Negotiate and plan resources, projects, and budgets at the site level.
- Assess use cases and requirements, valuation, priority setting, and decision on execution in alignment with site management and site targets.
- Have cross-site responsibility in one or more specific fields of action, e.g., Image Classification.
- Monitor and control relevant KPIs and strive for ambitious site targets.
- Build a strong network and define interfaces to various departments as well as to external partners.
- Drive change in the local organization towards a data-driven decisions culture.
- Proactively identify current and future site requirements & innovative use cases through ideation workshops, direct contact, and advertisement in larger meetings.
- Define and lead the local digitalization target picture on-site from ideation to realization roadmap and value harvesting.
- Communicate strategy & represent the team on-site and represent the site on a cross-site level as a key stakeholder.
- Develop, provide, and govern a framework (organization, interfaces, processes) for high team efficiency and performance.
- Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or other technical studies with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience in leading teams and projects in the semiconductor industry, preferably in the field of data analytics or digital transformation.
- Proven track record in value harvesting through Digitalization and AI implementation at scale.
- Experience in agile projects, especially as a product owner; additional experience in design thinking and complex problem-solving is advantageous.
- Experience working in a DevOps/MLOps environment is advantageous.
- Broad understanding of data and analytics challenges and solutions, with deep knowledge in data science, AI, and ML.
- Expert knowledge in architectural concepts to design, build, and manage robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions.
- Experience in data storage systems, data visualization, and interactive data applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for complex technical solutions to different stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a direct interface to local upper management.
- Proficiency in collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Gitlab).
