Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, - RTR Inventory Management. This is a pivotal role within the Finance Organization. Supply Chain Cost is a key focus area therefore, this role is encouraged to be the specialist in all costing matters who know all cost drivers at the lowest possible level, to be able to support management in key decision making. He will be the first point of contact for BU finance teams to investigate any cost variances vs the trends! Responsibilities
- Inventory Management & Controlling
- Warehouse Management
- Resolving inventory issues
- Monitoring daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory
- Maintain and update inventory records.
- Period end close – Journals, Reporting, Variance analysis.
- Management reporting, cost analysis
- Manage the Month-end close process, ensuring all reconciliations are performed.
- GL reconciliation
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure business goals are met
- Checking Inventory Cost
- Maintaining Other Non-Current Assets
- Analyzing detailed reports on inventory operations
- Understanding of costing Process in Warehouse/Manufacturing set up.
- Open, proactive, and constructive communication.
- Teamwork
- Accountability for results and commitments with no tolerance to low performance
- Initiative for improvement, problem solving and personal development.
- Well versed with day-to-day accounting at Plant/Warehouse and understanding of Supply chain Finance
- Knowledge of management of Inventory Controlling
- Period close activity at Warehouse/Manufacturing location
- SAP, Oracle & Business Warehouse
- Advance excel, VBA (desirable)
- Well versed with MS – Office (Power Point)
- Inventory Controlling / Factory / Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) / Warehouse
- Variance analysis
- Inventory Reconciliation
- Consultative skills to present granular and summarized view to BU partners.
- Co-ordinating with internal / external partners
- Cost Accountant (Final) or Postgraduate or MBA Finance
- SAP / experience in similar ERPs (Oracle / JDE / SAGE / BPCS / PRMS, etc.) environment is must.
- Good written/verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Flexibility to work in shifts (24X7)
- Good accounting knowledge in both Management Reporting & Financial Reporting
- Eagerness, extra energy & dedication to make a difference.
- Excellent communication skill, written & verbal.
- Good in Problem Solving and Analysis
- Knowledge of Blackline tool for Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
- Between 3-6 Years of total experience in Manufacturing / Product Costing/ Standard Costing field.
