The role includes preparing and maintaining sterile environments, assisting the surgical team during procedures, and ensuring patient safety and compliance with protocols. Key Responsibilities Preparation and Sterilization :

• Prepare the Cathlab suite by ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and functional.
• Set up the sterile field for procedures and adhere to strict aseptic techniques.

• Assist the cardiologist and surgical team during procedures such as angiograms, angioplasty, and pacemaker insertions.
• Hand over instruments and supplies in a timely and precise manner.
• Monitor the sterile field and ensure all practices comply with infection control standards.

• Ensure patients are positioned correctly and are comfortable during procedures.
• Monitor patient condition alongside the Cathlab team and respond promptly to any emergencies.

• Maintain an inventory of Cathlab supplies, including catheters, guidewires, and other specialized instruments.
• Replenish stocks as needed and report equipment issues promptly.

• Record procedural details, including instruments used and patient responses.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records as per hospital protocols.

• Participate in regular training to stay updated on Cathlab procedures and technology.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.

• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and infection control.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with Cathlab equipment and cardiovascular procedures.
