Kiosk Barista

Role Summary: The Kiosk Barista is responsible for providing excellent customer service by managing orders, handling payments, and preparing food and beverages at the kiosk. This role requires a versatile individual who can efficiently manage both front-of-house and back-of-house tasks, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for customers. Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to stand for extended periods.
2. Ability to lift and carry items.
3. Manual dexterity for operating kitchen equipment.
4. Must have a valid Health Certificate from Dubai Municipality.

1. Greet customers warmly and assist them in making menu selections.
2. Take customer orders accurately and input them into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
3. Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment; provide correct change and issue receipts.
4. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback politely and efficiently.
5. Maintain a clean and organized serving area.
6. Keep smiling all the time.

1. Prepare and assemble food items according to the menu and customer specifications.
2. Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared safely, following health and hygiene regulations.
3. Monitor inventory levels and restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
4. Operate kitchen equipment, such as grills, toasters, and coffee machines, safely and efficiently.
5. Prevent food and drink waste while preparing the order.

1. Clean and sanitize workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils regularly.
2. Ensure all food items are stored properly and check for freshness.
3. Record, control, and monitor the freezers and fridge temperature.
4. Inspect all equipment, gas, and electrical connections on a daily basis.
5. Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up or shutting down the kiosk and securing the area.
6. Upsell additional products or promotions to customers.
7. Track daily sales and report discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.

2. Role Type: Outsourced, Full Time, On-Site, Fixed Term Contract
3. Work Location: Al Warsan 4, Dubai
4. Working Conditions: Outdoor (Non-Airconditioned Environment)
5. Work Timings: 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM (including one hour lunch break)
6. Working Days: 6 days per week & one day off
7. Requirements: Minimum one year of UAE experience and valid PIC certificate
8. Benefits: Employment Visa will be provided; bus transportation will be provided by client from RASHIDIYA/CENTREPOINT Metro Station to the work location (Al Warsan 4)

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Experience: 2+ years experience in Food or Beverage service (food kiosk, coffee shops, or restaurants).
3. Skills:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Fluent in English Speaking and Writing. Arabic is a plus.
