To ensure we continue to deliver on our commitments to the consumers,who rely on us, we are focused on improving the way we do business; and collaborate with a network of influencers who are involved in health care decisions.Join us!The purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services tosupport organizational objectives and network member needs. The position oversees the end-to-endprocurement process, enforces quality assurance standards, and ensures compliance with donor and organizational policies. Additionally, the role involves building the capacity of team members, supportingfield-level operations, and fostering innovation by identifying new products and vendors. This position iscritical in aligning procurement and supply chain activities with organizational goals and ensuring sustainablesupply chain solutions.Manage procurement activities for acquisition of goods and services for PSI health interventions per PSI & donor policies and guidelines.Your ContributionProcurement Management (55%)Oversee procurement operations to meet the needs of network members efficiently and cost-effectively.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services aligned withproject timelines and requirements.Quality Assurance (10%)Develop and enforce quality assurance protocols to comply with donor requirements and PSI policies.Conduct regular process reviews to ensure compliance, identify gaps, and propose actionable improvements.Team Supervision and Capacity Building (15%)Lead and supervise direct reports, offering guidance, support, and opportunities for professionalgrowth.Strengthen the procurement and supply chain competencies of team members through targetedtraining, coaching, and mentorship initiatives.Management Reporting and Stakeholder Communication (5%)Prepare and deliver status updates and management information reports on procurement and supplychain activities.Share key insights with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals andmaintain transparency.New Product and Vendor Development (15%)Identify and evaluate potential new vendors for PSI products, conducting thorough due diligence.Perform market mapping to introduce innovative health commodities into PSI's portfolio.The percentage may vary while working, any other task assigned by supervisor.What Are We Looking For?Post Graduate (or international equivalent) in Business, Operation Management, or a related fieldAt least 10 years of professional purchasing experience. Equivalent combination of relevant educationand experience may be substitutedExperience working in a donor funded environment required.Experience in a pharmaceuticalcommercial organization would be preferred.Basic Knowledge of relevant funder (USAID, Global Fund) regulationsAbility to draft moderate to complex bidding and contractual instruments.Able to maintain complete confidentiality for sensitive issues and information.Able to multi-task and meet deadlines in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.Working knowledge of international freight movements and INCOTERMS.Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English. Fluency in French and/or Spanish preferred. PRB
