The successful candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring the design, delivery, and operation of network services align with organizational goals. You will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of SDN technology, delivering scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for SDN solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, converting business requirements into actionable user stories and epics.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs, validate solutions, and ensure the network strategy delivers business value.Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams (network engineers, architects, and developers) and non-technical stakeholders.Facilitate communication between business units, IT teams, and external vendors to align objectives and expectations.Present updates, performance metrics, and product outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.Oversee the design, implementation, and operation of SDN solutions, ensuring they meet scalability, performance, and security requirements.Collaborate with engineering teams to implement advanced network automation, orchestration, and monitoring solutions.Ensure SDN designs adhere to industry best practices and compliance standards.Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of network initiatives.Drive continuous improvement in network performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.Champion the adoption of modern tools and processes, such as Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines for network management.Guide teams in adopting Agile methodologies to manage the lifecycle of network products.Provide mentorship to junior team members and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.Partner with vendors and consultants to ensure timely delivery of services and solutions.SkillsStrong understanding of Software Defined Networking (SDN) concepts, protocols (e.g., OpenFlow, BGP, OSPF), and architecture.Proven experience with SDN technologies such as Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, or Juniper Contrail.Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid cloud integration.Knowledge of network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, NetConf) and monitoring solutions (e.g., SolarWinds, Zabbix, Prometheus).Experience in aligning network strategies with business goals in large organizations.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.Track record of delivering network solutions that balance performance, cost, and user experience.Hands-on experience managing product lifecycles using Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).Proficiency in backlog management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or AWS/Azure certifications.Experience working in highly regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, or government).Why It's Great to Work HereJoining Alexander Ash Consulting as a Network Product Owner represents an exceptional opportunity for the right individual.
