Our client is a well-established design and project management firm, dedicated to enhancing the vitality of corporate, educational, and healthcare environments. Due to ongoing success and positive forward workload, they seek to appoint a Senior Interior Designer to join their Auckland team. This role offers creative freedom within a dynamic, collaborative team environment, based in Central Auckland. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for developing creative, client-focused interior design solutions that are both innovative and functional. You will present design concepts to clients and stakeholders, ensuring a high-quality client experience and fostering long-term relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Create and deliver compelling design solutions that meet client briefs and expectations
- Oversee design documentation and collaborate with technical staff and Project Managers
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, keeping projects on track and within budget
- Stay up to date with market trends and ensure designs align with current standards
- Contribute to client presentations, marketing materials, and business development initiatives
- A minimum of 10+ years working in a Commercial Interior Design environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively engage clients and stakeholders
- Proficiency in Revit and other design software; PowerPoint is beneficial
- Technical and creative excellence in both design and presentation
- A solid understanding of Building Codes and industry standards
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
