Job Title: Forklift Operator

Reports To: Site Supervisor
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise in our warehouse or storage facility. You will ensure products are handled safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities
Forklift Operations:
Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack products and materials.
Transport goods to designated areas within the facility or onto transport vehicles.
Inventory Management:
Assist in inventory control by keeping track of product movements.
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
Safety and Maintenance:
Conduct daily inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
Follow all safety regulations and company policies while operating the forklift.
General Duties:
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Assist in manual loading/unloading when required.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
Valid forklift operator certification or license (as per local regulations).
Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory systems.
Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy items when necessary.
Preferred Skills
Experience using RF scanners or inventory management systems.
Knowledge of operating other warehouse equipment.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
