Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations, including reviewing medical history and performing diagnostic tests, to accurately diagnose and treat patients' cardiovascular conditions
- Develop treatment plans and provide recommendations for further care, including medication, lifestyle changes, and procedures such as angioplasty or bypass surgery
- Monitor patients' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments, making adjustments as necessary
- Educate patients on proper self-care and prevention methods to improve their heart health
- Work collaboratively with other medical professionals, including nurses, technicians, and surgeons, to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Keep detailed and accurate records of patient consultations, treatment plans, and progress
- Stay current with advancements in cardiology and participate in training, workshops, and conferences to continuously improve knowledge and skills
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of a residency program in Cardiology
- Valid medical license and board certification in Cardiology
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing Cardiologist
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular diseases, diagnostic techniques, and treatment options
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a team
- Attention to detail and the ability to make critical decisions
