Application Development Lead

Location: IN - Hyderabad Telangana Goodyear Talent Acquisition Representative: Maria Monica Fernando Canding Sponsorship Available:  No Relocation Assistance Available: No The position will perform general software development on the company computer system so that company personnel, at all levels, can perform and record their day to day job activities. Write and test software on schedule in support of company objectives as defined by the software development manager. Resolve system outage incidents quickly using sustainable methods. Conform software to established coding guidelines, Sarbanes-Oxley I/T guidelines, and ensure programs perform within accpetable CPU usage amounts. Communicate with other analysts as well as supervisor concerning software changes before, during, and upon their completion. Produce accurate time estimates for proposed projects.  Responsible for the design, implementation, and effective support of related technologies. In addition, this individual has expert knowledge of Information Technology at large, with a firm understanding of related disciplines and how they interoperate. Responsible for leading design, implementation, and troubleshooting efforts and is directly accountable for the results.   Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

• Software Development / Programming. Production Deployment. Software Debugging, Testing, and Maintenance. Mentor other Analysts
• Phone & Email Support. Research and Answer questions from Business Users and the CTSC Field Organization
• SOX Evidence & Procedures Task Research & Analysis Training Manual Updates / How-To Creation Collaboration Status Reporting Attend Meetings
• Phone & Email Support
• Research and Answer questions from Business Users and the CTSC Field Organization
• 24-hour Oncall Responsibility

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, or related discipline is required.  
• With 8 years of Development experience
• Knowledge of general computer environments/platforms, and familiarity with various computer languages and database structures.  
• Specific knowledge of the following: CICS, DB2, TSO, JCL, COBOL
• Ability to organize a project schedule and communicate with internal/external team members.  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of English
• Solid solution design capabilities across functions and applications.
• Ability to work flexible working hours as required on special occasions
