About Maritime Optima A privately funded startup, Maritime Optima AS, leverages its solid shipping industry understanding and robust maritime network to drive innovation. Founded in 2019, the company has grown to 17 full-time employees and 2 part-time staff from diverse backgrounds. Our vision is to build an international marketing team outside Norway, with planned expansions in London, Singapore, and Oslo by 2024. Job Responsibilities: Develop and execute a global marketing strategy to boost sales through various marketing activities. Create and oversee marketing and advertising budgets, tracking and reporting results. Establish a global structure for marketing activities, building units in key locations, including London, Singapore, and Oslo. Lead and train the marketing team, providing guidance and leadership for success. Participate in the Management Group, contributing to strategic decision-making. Requirements: Superb analytical skills and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, with flexibility and adaptability. Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, including software product marketing (SaaS) with documented results. Knowledge of or experience from the shipping industry, as well as good IT skills and understanding of software. Education in sales or marketing is desirable; relevant marketing experience compensates. Professional working proficiency in English is essential.
