Aviation Architect

Connect Energy partners with one of the established consultancy firms in Singapore. Currently URGENTLY looking for a qualified Architect to join their esteemed company in Dubai / Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities

1. Manage a team of Architects and designers.
2. Guide the team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Coordinate with clients to work out design requirements.
4. Communicate with contractors about construction progress and potential problems that may arise during the building process.
5. Review architectural plans for compliance with local building codes and regulations.
6. Identify ways to improve the design of structures based on environmental factors such as light and wind exposure.
7. Meet with contractors to discuss construction details such as materials to be used and scheduling issues.
8. Create diagrams, renderings, and other visual representations of architectural designs.
9. Plan, develop, and implement designs for buildings or structures.
10. Compile feasibility reports and determine environmental impact.
11. Create project proposals that include timelines and estimated costs for projects.
12. Meet with clients to assess their needs and requirements and present design projects from concept to development to completion.
13. Develop and pitch project proposals and adjust designs and plans according to clients' needs and requests.
14. Prepare drawings, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents and conduct research, compiling reports on feasibility studies and environmental impacts.
15. Design to comply with safety standards and local planning regulations and determine and adhere to budget timelines.
16. Manage project teams and collaborate with other construction professionals.
17. Responsible for public safety while overseeing the project; when a building is completed, the architect remains involved to help incorporate new surroundings and ideas.

1. Degree in Architecture.
2. IATA Certificate is preferred for airport projects.
3. Minimum 10 years relevant experience for Senior Architect role; minimum 15 years experience for Principal Architect role.
4. MUST have experience in MASTER PLANNING in the aviation industry.
5. Some experience in project management or business development is ideal.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
