We are seeking a user-oriented Field Desktop Support Engineer with excellent communication skills and a pleasant personality to provide on-site technical support at our client's location. This role demands a strong technical aptitude, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional on-site technical support: Provide timely and effective assistance to end-users, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Build strong client relationships: Foster trust and loyalty by delivering outstanding customer service, actively listening to client needs, and exceeding expectations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues: Diagnose and resolve complex IT problems efficiently, minimizing disruptions to business operations.
- Collaborate effectively: Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions, gather requirements, and share technical expertise.
- Ensure system uptime and performance: Proactively monitor system health, perform regular maintenance, and implement necessary upgrades.
- Stay current with technology: Continuously expand technical knowledge and skills to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
- Proven customer service excellence: Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and exceed customer expectations.
- Strong technical foundation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of providing on-site technical support in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced technical skills: Expertise in Windows 10/11, Office 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, networking (Checkpoint firewall, HP switches), VDI, Azure, and MDM. Relevant certifications (MCP/MCITP, MCTS/MCDST, MCSA/MCSE) preferred.
- Problem-solving acumen: Ability to analyze complex issues, develop effective solutions, and implement them efficiently.
- Collaborative team player: Proven ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients to achieve shared goals.
- Excellent communication skills: Clear and concise communication both verbally and written in English.
- Continuous improvement mindset: Passionate about staying up-to-date with industry trends and acquiring new skills.
