Join us today and be a part of a team that is redefining the future of media.   Part-Time Producer Who we're looking for: We're looking for a part-time casual news producer with a can-do attitude! Someone can put a news show to air, who loves to chase news, and thrives under pressure and deadlines. A strong communicator and storyteller who embraces innovation and new technology. Various producing responsibilities will form a regular part of the work, including lining-up newscasts, vetting news content and coordinating with CityNews teams across the country. The position will require weekend and evening shifts. What you will do:

• Find, chase, research news content for multiple markets
• Write content and vet stories
• Line up news shows and take them to air
• Assign news stories when needed
• Collaborate with supervising producers for show needs/requirements
• Locate visuals/materials needed to tell story
• Support and communicate with field teams (VJs, ENG)
• Contribute to /help generate story ideas and pitches
• Complete, vet all production elements needed for air (fonts, graphics, outcues etc.)
