Job Title: Tableau Developer – Clinical Domain Experience Required: 4-8 years in data visualization and Tableau development with clinical or healthcare domain experience Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Tableau Developer with a strong background in the clinical domain to join our analytics team. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing Tableau dashboards to support clinical research, operational decision-making, and healthcare analytics. The ideal candidate will have experience with healthcare data, strong visualization skills, and the ability to translate complex clinical data into insightful and actionable visualizations. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports tailored to clinical data needs.
- Collaborate with clinical and data science teams to understand business requirements, translate them into visualization solutions, and drive data-driven insights.
- Integrate and manage large clinical datasets from various sources, ensuring data integrity and quality.
- Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance, ensuring efficient data loading and visualization on large clinical data sets.
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency in reports and dashboards.
- Work with SQL and ETL tools to extract, transform, and load data from clinical systems to Tableau.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards (such as HIPAA and HL7) and maintain strict data security protocols.
- Provide training and support to end-users on interpreting and utilizing dashboards and visualizations effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in Tableau development with a focus on clinical or healthcare data.
- Proficiency in Tableau (Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Tableau Prep) and a strong understanding of data visualization best practices.
- Strong SQL skills, with experience in creating complex queries to extract and manipulate clinical data.
- Experience working with healthcare data standards (EHR, HL7) and compliance requirements (HIPAA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including clinical, IT, and analytics teams.
- Familiarity with other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik) is a plus.
- Experience with statistical tools (e.g., R, Python) for advanced data analysis.
- Knowledge of clinical research protocols and medical terminologies.
