Full-Time Nanny, Oldtown, Co.Dublin

Job Overview

Professional Daily Nanny required for an exciting position based in Oldtown, Co. Dublin. Caring for 2 children aged 10 and 7 years old. This position will be Monday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. (35.5 hours per week) (extra hours during school holidays). Both parents are working full-time, occasionally the mother works from home. Start Date is July 2024.

Responsibilities

The Nanny will be responsible for:

1. School collections and taking the children to afternoon activities.
2. Nursery duties including children’s laundry and keeping the children’s bedrooms and kitchen area clean and tidy.
3. Providing and cooking healthy & nutritious snacks and meals for the family.
4. Assisting with homework in fluent English.
5. Occasional babysitting as required.

The Nanny must be confident in following the children’s daily routine and creating stimulating and educational activities, as the children enjoy arts and crafts, going to the park, and tennis.

Candidate Requirements

The candidate must have:

1. Qualifications: Childcare Qualification
2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience
3. Driver: Yes (own car)
4. Skills: Good organizational skills, creativity, and a fun, outgoing, and energetic personality.
5. References: Excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
