1. Procurement: - Strategic Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project delivery and company goals, ensuring material availability while minimizing waste and obsolescence. Manage cost initiatives and control purchasing budgets to support competitive pricing. - Demand Forecasting and Inventory Management: Collaborate with Sales and Project teams to accurately forecast demand, maintain optimal inventory levels, and optimize purchasing strategies. Proactively find solutions to clear slow-moving stock, ensuring inventory remains agile and cost-effective. Analyze market trends in the solar sector, identifying potential supply chain risks and opportunities (including material prices and shipping costs).
2. Warehouse and Logistics: - Logistics and Delivery Coordination: Oversee and coordinate the delivery of materials from warehouses to project sites. Work closely with suppliers, Project teams, and transporters to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. - Oversee Warehousing Operations: Work closely with third-party service providers to manage receiving, storing, and distributing goods, while implementing inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels. Ensure warehouse KPIs are met including safety, security, and compliance with health and safety standards in warehouse facilities. Conduct regular inventory audits and address any discrepancies.
