Our Growth Team is committed to engaging with new customers, ensuring their seamless onboarding experience, and growing our existing customers by building strategic long-term relationships. By offering personalized support and tailored solutions, our Growth team empowers customers to fully leverage the power of Aspire and achieve their business goals. Responsibilities:
- Lead sales growth - own and drive the sales number through successful management, organizational planning, and execution.
- Manage the team - enable the Account Executive team (responsible for closing deals) to achieve greater performance.
- Drive market expansion - test and validate new segments and use cases, then scale the organization to capture those opportunities.
- Build the sales function - refine Aspire’s approach to sales by improving the organization’s methodologies, processes, and frameworks.
- Shaping strategy - make the case for prioritizing among different market opportunities based on firsthand experience and data, engaging with other stakeholders such as Marketing, Product, and Partnerships.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 8+ years of work experience, ideally in a metrics-driven sales environment.
- 4+ years of management and leadership experience, ideally including experience managing managers and teams of 5+ people.
- Exposure to B2B payments, corporate cards, or other fintech.
- Combination of entrepreneurial, analytical, and commercial attitudes.
- Willingness to “get things done” in the face of ambiguity.
- Ability to hire, train, and coach a high-performance sales team.
- A growth mindset coupled with both confidence and humility.
- Experience at a fast-growing technology/software company.
- Passion for working with startups and SMEs.
- Fluency in Cantonese and English.
- MBA or other graduate degree.
- Fluency in other business languages such as Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean.
