AWS Business Group Leader, Global Technology Consulting Firm Our client, a leading technology consulting firm, is seeking an AWS Business Group Leader to spearhead their AWS practice. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic thinker with deep AWS experience to drive business growth, build strong client relationships, and lead a talented team of cloud professionals. The Role The AWS Business Group Leader will:
- Define and Execute Strategy : Develop and implement the strategic vision for the AWS practice, identifying growth opportunities and expanding the client base.
- Drive Business Growth : Lead business development initiatives, leveraging AWS expertise to create value-driven solutions for clients.
- Provide Holistic Cloud Solutions : Be involved in providing a holistic cloud solution for clients focused around AWS, ensuring offerings meet their needs comprehensively.
- Lead Deal Shaping & Pre-Sales Solutioning : Lead activities around deal shaping and pre-sales solutioning for major AWS bids and proposals, helping to craft winning approaches for clients.
- Develop Go-To-Market Strategy : Be involved in developing the go-to-market strategy for the AWS offering, ensuring alignment with market trends and client needs.
- Strengthen AWS Alliance : Ideally leverage strong relationships with numerous executives from AWS, work on joint bids, and strengthen the alliance between AWS and the client organization.
- Lead & Scale the AWS Practice : Ideally, have built or led an AWS practice and scaled up an AWS-focused business unit for a major technology consulting firm or systems integrator.
- Exceed Sales Targets : Ideally, have carried an individual sales target and exceeded quota, driving tangible growth for the AWS business unit.
- Lead a High-Performing Team : Manage and inspire a diverse team of AWS architects, engineers, and consultants, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Collaborate with Key Stakeholders : Work closely with senior leadership and key partners, including AWS, to align services with market demand and industry trends.
- Proven Expertise : Extensive experience with AWS solutions and a track record of leading cloud transformation initiatives.
- Business Acumen : Strong ability to develop go-to-market strategies, engage in high-level discussions with clients, and drive revenue growth.
