Project Executive, International and Mainland Relations (until 31 Dec 24)

[Ref. No.: 3/18/TPJE-MTI9/HKTDC] The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”), the statutory organization promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks a dynamic and high caliber candidate to join our Merchandise Trade and Innovation Department. Duration: Immediate - 31 December 2024

Responsibilities:

• To assist Project Managers in the overall planning and execution of local and overseas trade promotional events.
• To provide clerical and logistics support for organizing trade promotional projects.
• To assist in consolidating and updating project data and delegate information.
• To liaise and maintain close contact with delegates and potential exhibitors.
• To handle enquiries from events and undertake on-site duties.
• To perform administrative duties such as handling reports, filing system, and meeting schedules.
• To carry out ad-hoc duties.

Requirements:

• University graduate with prior experience in Event Management/Marketing/Project Management is preferred.
• Interest in data analysis and direct communication with customers is preferred.
• Proactive, self-initiated, and very attentive to details.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese Word-Processing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Remuneration and Benefits:

The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
