Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in a Construction company.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify procurement needs and specifications.Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions.Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.Analyze market trends and conditions to inform decision-making and optimize procurement processes.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payment processing and budget adherence.Resolve supplier-related issues and disputes, fostering positive vendor relationships.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Proven experience as a Procurement Officer in the construction industry.In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor negotiation.Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and industry suppliers.Strong analytical and negotiation skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Continuous commitment to staying informed about industry trends and best practices.
