Assistant Manager - Financial Risk & Regulatory Advisory

Yousuf Adil Chartered Accountants is looking for the position of "Assistant Manager - Financial Risk and Regulatory Advisory" for its Karachi office. The candidate will be responsible to:Assist clients with the challenges surrounding GL and management reportingDevelop and review policy and procedures, including process maps across accounting, operational and technical domainsProvide insights on key risks and challenges in ERP/Financial system implementation projectsAssist clients with identifying their accounting/reporting challenges by carrying out root cause analysis and developing solutions for the sameAssist the team manager with engagement planning and overall project managementAssist the team and client with preparation of Business Requirement Document (BRD) encapsulating all requirements from business stakeholdersAssist clients with preparing financial statements as per applicable accounting frameworkAssist clients with transforming their finance function, restructuring processes, management reporting & design of control frameworkDraft Target operating model (TOM) for Finance department leveraging client input and strategyPreparation of approach/methodology in proposals in response to client RFPInteract and develop relationships with key client staff and engage in a professional and confident mannerDocument complex business processes by applying a variety of techniques, tools, and technologies to identify operational inefficiencies and non-compliant situationsNavigate multiple commitments on a regular basis to balance tasks across various client commitmentsQualification:ACCA / CPA / CFA / CA Qualified or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business / Accounting & Finance / Economics or equivalent from a reputable university.Skills:Experience with IFRS GAP/Impact assessments and ImplementationExpertise in providing advisory services to clients transitioning between accounting frameworks (e.g. IFRS for SME to full adoption of IFRS)Experience in providing complex accounting and reporting advice across the public and private sectorKnowledge of Middle East accounting practices and regulationsUnderstanding of IFRS framework including IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 17 & IFRS 9Fluency in English is a mustBilingual candidates having fluency in Arabic will be preferredExperience:7+ years of prior working experience in a relevant professional discipline.Big Four Firms' experience is a plus.Candidates are encouraged to apply at "humancapital@yousufadil.com" with the subject "Assistant Manager - Financial Risk & Regulatory Advisory" before August 28, 2022.
