Accountant/ Assistant Manager (Puchong)

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage full sets of accounts for all subsidiaries and related companies, ensuring timely monthly closings and accurate reporting.
2. Oversee general ledger transactions, bank reconciliations, and schedules, ensuring correctness and timely submission for review.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, along with budgeting, cash flow management, foreign exchange, and financial projections.
4. Conduct statutory consolidation and prepare group consolidated financial statements.
5. Manage the quarterly bursa announcement requirement.
6. Preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS and MFRS.
7. Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
8. Manage statutory audits, including preparation of financial statements and coordination with external auditors.
9. Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and other external parties or stakeholders.
10. Review financial performance including assessment of actual results against budget and historical results to present in Audit Committee and Board of Directors purposes.
11. Coordinate with various departments on the preparation of annual report, compile and review the information of annual report.
12. Participate in various projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting, and/or Professional Qualifications (ACCA, CPA, MIA, etc.).
2. Compulsory Chartered Accountant status.
3. 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in an audit firm.
4. Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
5. Proficiency in MS Excel.
