General Manager

Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) About the role We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager to lead our operations at TOPLINE SAFETY GLASS (M) SDN BHD, a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality safety glass products. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business, from production and supply chain management to financial oversight and strategic planning. This is a pivotal position within our organisation, based in Selangor. What you'll be doing

• Provide strong leadership and direction to our production, logistics, sales, and administrative teams
• Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to drive growth, optimise efficiency, and enhance our market position
• Oversee all financial and operational aspects of the business, including budgeting, cost control, and performance monitoring
• Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, both domestically and internationally
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centricity
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards
• Represent the company and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry partners

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
• Proven track record of successfully leading and growing a business, with a strong understanding of operational and financial management
• Excellent strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and capitalise on market trends and opportunities
• Outstanding leadership and team-building abilities, with a demonstrated commitment to employee development and engagement
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and customer relationship management experience
• Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control processes
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or industrial management, are highly desirable
