About this opportunity
Assist in the development and maturation of large-scale AM using DED. This includes developing unique test scenarios and experiments to characterize DED process limitations and defect structures. This effort will culminate in maturing NASA’s qualification and certification methodology for DED processing in accordance with NASA-STD-6030, and the compilation of recommendations for the next revision to NASA-STD-6030Key Details:
