Project Manager- GIS Mapping /Autonomous Vehicle

Role / Designation : Sr. Project Manager / Project Manager Years of Experience: 12+ years of total experience where 5-7 years of relevant experience in project Management and Client Facing roles in Map Data Services; Preferably in the Autonomous Vehicle / Autonomous Mobility / Robotics / GIS domain Education Qualifications: Engineering Degree / Masters Degree / Bachelors Degree STEM Job Location : Kolkata Certifications : PMP or Prince 2 certification (Any One) Other requirements : Ability to travel between iMerit offices up to 25% Communication : B2 / C1 Level in English Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: Develop partnerships with customers and customer success managers to evaluate service performance. Identify opportunities for quality and process improvements for Faster, Cheaper, Better outcomes while supporting the company's social impact mission. Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Apply strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills based on data analysis. Motivate employees, resolve conflicts, and make hard decisions. Liaise with senior stakeholders to identify and create synergies for optimal client experience. Ensure center (location) compliance. Follow guidelines and certifications such as Best Practice Guidelines and ISO certification. Skill requirements Practical Mapping Tools kills: Hands-on experience with mapping and cartography techniques & tools, including data processing and analysis. Ability to manage mapping and cartography projects from conception through completion. Technical Expertise: Basic understanding of GIS software and hardware integration with autonomous systems. Ability to navigate and interpret mapping data and scenes. Project Management: Experience in managing GIS-specific projects, including planning, execution, and delivery within the AV or GIS domains. Thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment, with proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget at desired quality. Manages multiple competing priorities simultaneously & comfortable in ambiguity and constantly evolving environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to perform root cause analysis Ability to identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans Proven experience in change management, including the ability to manage change requests and ensure project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations. Passionate about technology and keeps abreast with latest developments In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools Excellent presentation and communication skills Self-motivated to deliver quality results in a timely manner Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Google Sheets Ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders Native speaker of the local language at the center. International onsite exposure at client office preferred
