Software Project Manager

Job Responsibilities:Plan, organize, and manage software development projects from initiation to closure.Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and resource allocations.Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and designers.Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project milestones and deadlines.Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.Facilitate project meetings, including regular status updates, planning sessions, and retrospectives.Manage project budgets and resources, tracking expenses and resource utilization.Provide regular project status updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.Ensure quality standards are met through effective project management and quality assurance practices.Implement and improve project management processes and methodologies as needed.Coach, mentor, and provide guidance to team members to foster their professional growth.Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software development and project management.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a software project manager, managing full software development lifecycle projects.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.Experience managing Agile software development projects is preferred.PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
