Environmental Consulting Lead - Ireland
تفاصيل الوظيفة
Are you a passionate environmental leader seeking a challenge to make a real impact? Do you thrive on tackling complex environmental challenges and building successful teams?
Then come and join us at Stantec.
We're seeking a passionate and experienced Environmental Lead to spearhead the growth of our consulting services across Ireland. We have a team of over 400 environmental professionals delivering impactful projects across the UK&I and the next stage of our growth plan is to appoint an Environmental Lead for the island of Ireland.
This is a role covering the island of Ireland but with close links to Environmental Consulting teams across the UK. The role can be based in either of our Belfast or Dublin offices, with hybrid working allowing for a mix of home- and in-office working.
You will form part of our UK&I Environmental Leadership group and oversee a wide range of environmental and multi-disciplinary projects; using your experience to help drive forward our technical agenda in response to environmental protection, climate change response, net zero carbon outcomes, and delivering social value. You will work with local Stantec leaders to raise the Environmental Consulting team's profile across Ireland - maintaining existing, and developing new, relationships with clients within the local market.
Our broad-based growth means that you will have the opportunity to support projects across multiple sectors, including regulated water, energy, and transportation. Our client-focused and result-driven approach means that we benefit from significant repeat business, but we also have an ambitious growth strategy that you will help us achieve. Our aim is to create valued solutions for our clients and to become indispensable to their future plans.
An important part of the role will be leading the growth of our teams within Ireland - including developing and retaining our existing team members and working with our in-house recruitment team to implement a recruitment strategy that will help further grow our teams.
About You
You have an Environmental or related degree and you will ideally be chartered.
You have a good understanding of the environmental consulting market across the island of Ireland and have the combination of entrepreneurial and commercial flair that will help us further grow our teams within a collaborative and supportive environment.
You relish a diverse workload, and enjoy delivering innovative solutions for clients, while working collaboratively to deliver shared goals. You are people-oriented, enjoy working with multi-disciplinary teams and are passionate about growing and developing environmental consulting teams and mentoring personnel.
You have broad technical knowledge and strong understanding of one or more environmental technical areas, such as hydrogeology, hydrology, ground assessment, ecology, archaeology, environmental planning or environmental impact assessment.
