Food & Beverage Supervisor/ Cook (Weekend shifts included) - Wairarapa Hospital

- Supervising the performance of F&B team members
- Ensuring that all tasks associated with food service, beverage services and general customer service are performed with due regard for all Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations
- Managing stock and deliveries, which may include lifting heavy packages
- Preparing single special items and bulk dishes for patient meals
- Assisting with ordering and stock rotation
- Complying with food safety standards and having a good understanding of food allergens
- Assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties
- Hardworking
- Immaculate personal presentation and high standards of cleanliness
- A team player but also able to work autonomously
- Friendly outgoing personality with a 'can do' attitude
- At least 2 years' previous supervisory experience and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167), or be willing to train for one
