The Operations division partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. Alongside this vital service delivery role, Operations provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm’s assets and its reputation. Operations span all product lines and markets. The primary responsibility of the Stock Lending team is to offer day-to-day support for the Stock Lending Desk in Asia. The team acts in partnership with a wide variety of groups across the firm globally with daily interaction with the wider Operations teams, Technology, Legal, and Compliance. Stock Lending Operations are heavily involved in new business initiatives and process improvement to streamline our support model. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the life cycle processes of a stock loan borrow or loan, including pre-matching, settlement, recalls, and collateralization. Interact with Traders, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering teams to ensure that commercial opportunities can be facilitated under controlled conditions. Focus on client excellence with both internal and external counterparts. Compile and analyze metrics to assess process efficiency and identify and drive improvement. Work independently or with team members and management on strategic projects and process improvement initiatives to reduce risk and/or improve client service delivery. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 4 years of prior work experience in stock loan operations (or at least trade support or equities middle office). Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of industries and businesses. Ability to self-direct, analyze, evaluate, and form independent judgments. Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders.
