Financial Accountant

Job Description: Accountant BlackCab is seeking a meticulous and results-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Responsibilities:

• Sales & Purchase Invoice Processing: Accurately and timely book all sales and purchase invoices in the accounting system.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) Management:
• Prepare weekly AR sheets, tracking outstanding customer invoices.
• Conduct regular AR follow-ups with customers to ensure timely payments.
• Accounts Payable (AP) Management:
• Prepare weekly vendor sheets, tracking outstanding vendor payments.
• Tax Compliance:
• Calculate, prepare, and file GST returns.
• Calculate and prepare TDS returns on a quarterly basis.
• Reconciliations:
• Reconcile all ledger accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct quarterly TDS reconciliations.
• Data Entry:
• Accurately enter all financial data into the accounting system.
• General Accounting Support:
• Assist with other accounting and finance-related tasks as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GST and TDS regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Tally).
• Excellent data entry and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including formulas and functions).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
