Education Successfully completed studies related to digitalization, process optimization, business, HR or related fields Work Experience 5+ years of experience in operational (HR) excellence, process optimization or innovation positions Specific Knowledge/Skills Experience with ticketing systems as well as HR information systems, ideally with Workday. Responsibilities

  • This role is responsible for the analysis and optimization of global end-to-end HR processes at ZEISS with the aim of providing HR (shared) services in a customer-friendly, high-quality, fast and cost-effective manner, always aiming towards providing a positive HR service experience.
  • By using a data-based approach to identify and derive concrete measures, this role is crucial in driving a sustainable continuous improvement process for HR at ZEISS.
  • This role responsibly drives HR (shared) services and processes optimization either by initiating and implementing standardization, digitization, automation or improvement of the HR organizational setup (e.g., implement a new / improve an existing HR shared services set-up).
  • Development and implementation of global HR guidelines, standards and governance strategies for HR services.
  • Responsibility for the preparation and provision of relevant information, communication and implementation of training courses to transfer knowledge to the operational HR teams.
  • Proactive identification of HR trends and innovations to further strengthen our HR services and processes provision including calculation of business cases, stakeholder buy-in and reaching a management decision.
Requirements
  • Profound Experience with optimizing work at the interface to the customer, especially in an (HR) shared services organization.
  • Practical experience with process optimization methods (Lean Six Sigma)
  • Experience with ticketing systems as well as HR information systems, ideally with Workday.
  • Strong analytical skills and affinity for reporting & analytics.
  • Strong communication skills, customer understanding and consulting skills across hierarchies.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; German skills would be a plus.
