Financial Planning & Budgeting Specialist

Administrative Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in setting the goals, initiatives, and plans and manage their execution.
  2. Manage day-to-day activities and operations, including implementation of all policies and procedures, and recommend potential improvements where appropriate.
Functional Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the financial planning and budgeting activities for SCA.
  2. Provide financial planning assistance and forecast the financial performance.
  3. Support SCA's departments in developing their financial plans and annual budget.
  4. Prepare the appropriate templates for budget preparation by all concerned departments.
  5. Comply with the approved policy of budgeting regarding the deadlines and management of the budgeting process.
  6. Receive the budget estimates from all the departments of the organization and critically examine them for correctness, accuracy, completeness, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
  7. Consolidate SCA's Divisional annual budget.
  8. Monitor the budget throughout the year.
  9. Modify the budget if necessary due to material changes in the business.
  10. Manage the financial reporting and analysis activities for SCA.
  11. Prepare annual and quarterly financial statements for SCA, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, etc., in line with IFRS requirements.
  12. Undertake financial analysis of the performance of SCA, producing periodic business reports that outline financial performance, key risks, and areas requiring management attention.
  13. Consolidate the data for budget presentation and provide an overview of the financial status of all operations.
  14. Study the previous budget and consider the benefits and losses occurred during previous financial years due to budget planning.
Job Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting.
  2. 3-4 years of related experience is required.
  3. Professional certificate is preferred (SOCPA, ACCA, CMA).
  4. Proficiency in English and Arabic Language is required.
