We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Tax Team in the capacity of Tax Analyst.

Overview of the role

We are looking for a highly motivated UAE National to join our Tax team as a Tax Analyst. This entry-level position will provide valuable exposure to the field of direct and indirect Tax. As a key member of the team, the Tax Analyst will support our Tax Managers across various business divisions, assisting in the implementation of the UAE’s corporate tax in Al-Futtaim.

What you will do

  • Assist Tax Managers in reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations.
  • Support in the corporate tax inauguration and compliance across Al-Futtaim Group’s business divisions.
  • Help in analyzing and reconciling financial and tax data for tax audits and assessments.
  • Work with internal departments to ensure alignment of tax processes and systems.
  • Monitor changes in UAE tax legislation and update the team accordingly.
  • Support ad-hoc tax-related projects and tasks as required.

Required skills to be successful

  • Basic knowledge of tax principles and regulations is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within a professional environment.

What equips you for the role

  • 1-3 years of experience with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
