Job Summary: The Assistant Director is responsible for overseeing and directing the admissions department, driving student recruitment strategies, and ensuring that enrollment targets are met. This role involves strategic planning, operational management, and cross-departmental collaboration to enhance the university’s brand, improve student outreach, and maintain high standards in the admissions process. Key responsibilities-

  • Develop outreach strategies to build relationships with prospective students for all UG/ PG Programs with Schools.
  • Work on maximizing visibility and improving connect with key influencers like coaching heads, tuition center heads, school counselors, principals, and teachers.
  • Lead Relationship development initiatives across South India for Coaching connect program with aim of improving student inflow from these coaching & schools.
  • Responsible for delivering presentations, interactive sessions across different schools in the country
  • Building up coaching network to increase reach, build up brand and get conversions.
  • Strategizing and organizing/participating in events like principal meets, open houses, career fairs etc
Qualifications:
  • Education: Master’s degree in education, Business, or related field preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 12– 15 years of experience in admissions or student recruitment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in achieving enrollment targets and improving recruitment outcomes.
  • Experience in team management, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, data analytics tools, and MS Office suite.

  • Strategic Vision: Ability to set and achieve long-term admissions goals.
  • Communication: Strong presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Problem Solving: Adept at managing complex admission issues and sensitive cases.
