Job Summary:We are looking for a qualified Instrumentation Engineer to support our production facility by working with PLCs and various control systems to monitor, maintain, and optimize industrial processes. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate measurement, control, and monitoring of equipment to maintain high levels of efficiency and quality within the plant. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in instrumentation and control systems, along with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Instrumentation System Management
Design, install, and calibrate instrumentation and control systems to monitor critical production parameters. Ensure all instrumentation is functioning accurately and in line with production requirements.
PLC and Control Systems Operation
Work with PLCs and other control systems to oversee and adjust industrial processes as needed. Monitor and troubleshoot control systems to ensure smooth and efficient operation of equipment and processes.
Process Monitoring and Analysis
Analyze data from instrumentation to ensure optimal production conditions and identify opportunities for improvement. Implement control strategies and adjustments to maintain process stability and efficiency.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Perform regular maintenance, calibration, and testing of instrumentation to minimize downtime and improve reliability. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to instrumentation and control systems promptly to avoid operational disruptions.
Documentation and Reporting
Keep accurate records of instrumentation configurations, calibration schedules, and maintenance activities. Prepare reports on instrumentation performance, adjustments made, and recommendations for process improvements.
Collaboration and Compliance
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to align instrumentation settings with production needs. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all instrumentation-related activities.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Skills:
Proficiency in working with PLCs and other control systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of industrial instrumentation, calibration, and control strategies. Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance for instrumentation systems.
Certifications: Optional certifications in instrumentation or control systems are a plus.
Experience: 4-5 years of hands-on experience with instrumentation, PLCs, and control systems in an industrial setting is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
