Introduction to the job
Since the beginning of 2018, the foundation was laid to create a pull for Agile principles based upon the SAFe framework. We aimed to implement Agile principles, mindset and ways of working, which lead to the ASML Development Model. The goal is to enable teams to increase predictability and productivity while maintaining a high level of innovation and employee engagement. This should lead to increased customer and stakeholders' satisfaction.
We are recruiting an experienced Lean-Agile Team Coach with an affinity for hardware development, who will help train and guide the forming of Agile-based ADM Teams and Trains within the Mechanical Development cluster.
Do you have a passion for teams, coaching and enabling others to do their job best? Are you interested in being responsible for guiding line management and engineers in adopting our way of working, with the principles and methods? Then we look forward to talking to you!
Role and responsibilities
As ADM Team and Train coach, you will be the trusted partner for Department Managers, Group Leads, Project Leads and the leaders of the engineering teams. You will guide ~400 people through continuous improvement in mindset, behavior, way of working and leadership.
You are responsible for helping support and implement the ASML Development Model within the department. This means that you help with training, coaching and guiding on role clarity, improving the Trains, helping with assessments and helping the teams become more mature. You will support teams and leaders by facilitating events like problem-solving workshops, value stream mapping, metrics and their interpretation. Besides this, you will coach leaders and teams to adopt an agile mindset from operational to strategic level. You will respectfully challenge the status quo and act as a role model for the principles and mindset which we envision as part of the ASML Development Model.
In alignment with the accountable Department Manager, you will:
Help the departments in the MDEV cluster to set up ADM Trains that become high performing.
Train the departments, their ADM Trains and teams, based on the existing training material and help them to become self-sustaining.
Create and maintain a continuous improvement plan for the ADM Trains and teams in MDEV.
Coach the teams and the different roles acting within the ADM Train.
Facilitate continuous improvements for the Trains to become more effective and efficient/productive.
Be the sparring partner of the leaders of the operational and line managers in the new ADM context on the way of working and growth.
Document and share good and best practices.
Be a member of the MDEV Agile Center of Excellence.
