Your Role
Meet your team: The Global Technology Legal Compliance team (GTLC) ensures SAP technology and products comply with license and obligation requirements from intellectual property laws and regulations perspectives. The team implements and manages a set of automation solutions to support process automation for legal compliances and services catering to the development community and stakeholders in SAP and its customers. What You'll Do:- You will work in the Global Technology Legal Compliance Team (GTLC) DevOps unit.
- Prior legal compliance knowledge and cloud DevOps experience are not required but are nice to have for this position.
- You are a self-starter, quick learner, and strong problem solver, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment to support DevOps operations.
- You will work with other seasoned DevOps engineers to analyze, troubleshoot, and support various production components in the automation landscape.
About You
SAP is looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. Qualifications:- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Have one prior internship work term in software development, testing, or infrastructure support.
- Can commit to 6 months internship and 3 or more workdays per week, 5 days preferred.
- Strong interest in DevOps. Prior experience in DevOps is a plus but not required.
- Self-motivated and striving for excellence.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix environment and Git/Github.
- Being able to program and debug in at least one of Groovy, Bash, and Python.
- General understanding of software build process.
- Familiar with web development and relational/no-SQL databases.
- Knowledge of CI/CD systems, i.e. K8S, Docker, Jenkins, Prometheus, Artifactory, etc.
- Knowledge of Maven, Gradle, npm, etc.
- Knowledge of GCP, Azure, OpenShift/OpenStack, CloudFoundry, etc.
