Solar O&M Specialist

Note: This is for one of our clients, not avua directly Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of solar PV systems to identify and address potential issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of solar assets.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, and communication issues.
• Coordinate and execute necessary repairs promptly to minimize system downtime.
• Utilize monitoring tools and software to track and analyze the performance of solar PV systems.
• Identify deviations from expected performance and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze performance data and generate regular reports on system efficiency, energy production, and maintenance activities.
• Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing system performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and maintain a robust safety program for all O&M activities.
• Manage the inventory of spare parts and equipment to facilitate timely repairs.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary components.
• Provide training to O&M team members and ensure they are updated on the latest technologies and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
• Proven experience in solar PV operations and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, inverters, and solar technologies.
• Familiarity with monitoring and diagnostic tools for solar PV systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and industry best practices.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
