Job Title: Guest Relations Officer Vacancy: 1 Job Description: To create a unique point of contact for our guests, prior, during, and after their stay; ensure that all preferences and requests are anticipated and met; offer undivided attention to all guests visiting Paramount Hotel and build lasting relationships by following our core values. Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Hotel, including all departments, services, and outlets.
- Prepare welcome letters for all arriving guests, provide a warm welcome, and offer assistance to all guests entering the hotel.
- Ensure the lobby is clean, and the furniture and newspapers look presentable at all times.
- Conduct hotel tours as required.
- Assist reception with arrival welcome amenities (wet towels, welcome drink) for checking-in guests and ensure cold and warm towels are always available, as per the number of arrivals.
- Prepare departure letters and deliver them one day prior to check-out date.
- Check the arrivals detailed report for the following day and day after to highlight special requests.
- Prepare special occasion cards (i.e., Birthday, Anniversary, Honeymoon) and deliver them to the respective rooms.
- Check guests' profiles and identify repeat guests, preparing the next day’s VIP arrival list.
- Check inspected rooms prior to arrival and ensure they are set up according to guest preferences.
- Raise purchase orders and requisition for guest supplies and office supplies, keeping track of pending orders and monthly requisition costs.
- Upsell hotel facilities and conduct hotel tours as required.
- Check and action traces in Opera on arrival and departure, as well as setting traces sensibly at all times, and update guest preferences and feedback in profile notes.
- Perform any related duties and special projects as requested by Management.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Receptionist/Guest Service position at Front Stage, preferably in an international five-star hotel with more than 500 rooms.
- College Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
- High level of verbal and written English.
- Preferably additional language (Arabic, Russian, French, Spanish, Italian, German).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of OPERA PMS or similar software.
