Family & Youth Specialist

Job Description To be positive role models to all residents To provide care and supervision to the resident To be a good listener to the residents and if needed, offer positive advice To aid in basic development and change process of the residents To ensure the safety of the residents at all times To ensure that the residents are punctual and on time for activities and programmes To treat every resident with dignity, respect and equality As a team member, you are to be available at all times (whether on or off duty) to assist colleagues in need To report to the designated Supervisor or Head of Operations To abide by the Code of Conduct To accompany the residents for activities when required Be vigilant to the mood of resident(s) and behavioural changes To ensure every resident adheres to rules and regulations To undertake any other duties specified by Head of Home and senior management. Technical Competencies: Minimum qualification - Diploma Good spoken and written English Immediate availability is advantageous Core Competencies: Willing to learn and is a good team player Able to multi-task and possess initiative to respond to various situations Able to perform shift work (overtime allowance) including weekends and public holidays Preferred Achievements / Characteristics: Basic counselling or social work qualification or experience is an advantage Patient, calm and a good listener Fresh graduates looking to start in the sector welcome to apply #J-18808-Ljbffr
